Parish Project

Being a Christian includes making a real difference in the world and in the lives of others.

It is important to strike a balance between giving and receiving in our daily lives.

Each year, our parish supports a different charity. We raise money and awareness through a series of events which usually include Lent Lunches, events and concerts including a services of Nine Lessons and Carols with the Harborough Singers.

The Parish Project charity for 2015 is for local children; it is supporting the children's playgrounds in Medbourne and Great Easton and the Youth Club.

Previous years' charities included: Impact Foundation, Send a Cow to Africa, Mission Aviation Fellowship, Rotary International - Polio Plus and St. Luke’s Hospital, Market Harborough.

Suggestions for future Parish Projects are welcome, particularly from those in the community who have existing links with, or who already do work for, a particular charity. Please send suggestions in the first instance to the Rector. Any such suggestions will need approval from the Parish Church Council.
